Youth Becoming Leaders 2025

PURPOSE

The purpose of Asbury University's Youth Becoming Leaders: High School Christian Leadership and Global Transformation Institute is to equip High School students for theologically-guided living and decision making through immersion in Christian Scripture, theological texts, tradition and community to lead and serve in a complex global society. YBL has a three-step application process which includes completing this form, submitting a scripture memorization and a reference from the student's mentor. The following questions are required only for those applying to Leadership Fellows. (This opportunity is available for high school students who have already completed at least one year of YBL and are ready to continue in their leadership development.)

SUBMIT FORM

Once this online application is submitted, applicants will receive an email confirming the receipt of the application and providing detailed follow-up information on next steps. Specifically, the email will have information on the second part of the application, the video of scripture memorization, which is also due March 10th. Your mentor will receive information at the email address you listed above about how to fill out the reference form for you. Notification of acceptance into the program will occur after all materials are received by March 10th. Applicants will know the status of acceptance no later than April 5th.
