    Current Preview Day Event Schedule

    Please note: This schedule is subject to change. You will receive a final version in your visit folder at Check-in.

    If you signed up for an additional activity (Adventure, Music, Athletics, etc.) as part of this event, some of the activities will be specific to that. These include department specific classes, programming, and individual appointments.

    We have provided an early check in option on Thursday, September 30 from 3pm-7pm, but activities will not begin until 9:00AM on Friday, October 1st.

    Welcome to campus! Check in at our Admissions Welcome Center and get to know our team.

    Attend chapel with our current student body. Asbury students are required to attend chapel three days each week, and the speakers come from a variety of places, denominations and backgrounds. 
    11:00 AMGroup A Lunch (Last Name A-L) // Dining Hall Gray Room
    Everyone with a last name beginning A-L will grab food from the Dining Hall and bring it back into the Gray Room to eat.
     Group B Faculty Panel (Last Name M-Z) // Kinlaw Board Room
    Three faculty members will share about why they teach at Asbury, exciting things happening in their departments, how their faith influences academic life, and how they are involved with students.

    Come experience the many academic programs Asbury has to offer! See displays and demonstrations from our five schools and have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with faculty in your area of interest.

    Campus Tour: Meet in the Admissions Office to get a full tour of campus given by a current student.
    Attend Class: Choose to attend a class based on your potential future major or minor. All professors on the provided list are expecting guests.
    Athletics Open House: Come get a tour of our Luce Athletics Center and have a chance to meet coaches and current student athletes for Q&A.
    Admissions Open House: Stop by the Admissions Office to sign up for a meeting with your Admissions Counselor, fill out an application for admission to Asbury, or just to eat some of our afternoon snacks.
    Residence Hall Tour: Meet in Admissions for a full residence hall tour guided by a current student. We will have tours for men's and women's residence halls separately.
    Financial Aid Seminar for Parents: This session is directed to parents and is led by our Director of Financial Aid, Leslie Kurtz. After her presentation, you are welcome to ask any financial aid questions you may have.

    Art + Design Photo Lab Open House: Stop by our photo lab (Hamann-Ray 312) to meet current students, see our darkroom and photography equipment, and event try your hand at developing a black and white print! 
    Art + Design Department Tours: Meet in McCreless 207 for a student-led tour of our Art and Design department and studio spaces.

    Equine Center Tour: Drive out to our Equine Center (about a mile off campus) to get a full tour led by our trainer, Jesse Westfall. Limited seats will be available for a shuttle to the farm.

    Join us on Reasoner Green for a food truck dinner, live music, yard games, and more!
    7:00 PMVolleyball Match (optional) // Luce Athletics Center
    Come cheer on the Lady Eagles as they take on Rio Grande in women's volleyball! Entry to the event is free of charge.
    7:30 PMFamily Weekend Evening Concert (optional) // Jameson Recital Hall
    Come enjoy a full concert featuring our Concert Band, Orchestra, and additional Chamber Ensembles! Entry to the concert is free of charge.
    7:30 PMScreening of Damaged Goods // Lyric Theatre, Lexington
    Asbury University's award-winning Media Communication department will host a red-carpet event premiering its film Damaged Goods at the historic Lyric Theatre in Lexington, KY. The female-led movie is co-directed by Hollywood veteran Nancy Stafford (Matlock, Magnum P.I., Who's the Boss?) and Asbury alumna Katie Oostman '15, and written by Doug Smart. Tickets are available online
